Mexico City vs Guadalajara.. my experience

Hey, what's up guys?  I've spent a considerable amount of time in Mexico City (5 months every year for 3 years in a row) and 5 weeks in Guadalajara a few years ago, and here's my experience real quick

The girls in Guadalajara are definitely more physically beautiful on average than the girls in Mexico City, and it has strong traditional values in the sense that I felt it was more serious-relationship-oriented in Guadalajara.. which may not be what most travel guys are looking for, but a better pool of women to find a serious girlfriend. Many girls I approached at the mall or around town said they have a boyfriend, and it was an authentic response, not just a brush off. Whereas in Mexico City it's more of a casual / hookup culture, due to the anonymity of a big mega city I guess. But yes, it's much 'easier' there.. but average quality is noticeably lower than GDL.. so interesting trade-off for guys to decide between lol.

The best neighborhood in GDL is called Colonia Americana, and there's a main street there called Avenida Chapultepec that I stayed by. It's a nice area with a lot of things, and it does have mostly older-style houses on the side streets there, but there are some very nice AirBnBs as well.   There is a pedestrian walking area in the middle of Ave Chapultapec, and on weekends there are usually tons of vendor stands selling things and it's packed with people walking around.  Here's what it looks like:

There is a neighborhood connected to Guadalajara, called Zapopan, and there is a very huge luxury mall there, and Zapopan is a luxury community. Outside of the Zapopan mall.. I was seeing Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Bentleys, like legit millionaire Mexican businessmen, so there are very nice, wealthy neighborhoods of Guadalajara. Colonia Americana would be the neighborhood that I would stay in because it's a good balance of very walkable and tons of quality restaurants, gyms, and a lot of the nightlife stuff is on or around Avenida Chapultepec.

In Mexico City, I stay in Condesa every time I go near Parque Mexico, and I love that area. Roma Norte is also really good. I personally didn't prefer Polanco, although it is a more luxurious neighborhood, just because it was not as walkable as Condesa/Roma with tons of cafes and things to do. As a digital nomad, I really love that around Parque Mexico is overflowing with unlimited cafes and you can try a new one every day and never run out.
